When asked on Wednesday if he thought that the deal surrounding the Stellantis battery plant in Windsor, Ont., sets a poor precedent for future companies looking to set up a location in the area, Ontario Premier Doug Ford replied in the negative. “Before we took office… you could shoot a cannon down the streets of Windsor and not hit anyone,” Ford said. “We’re bringing economic growth — unprecedented economic growth — to Ontario.”
