No public inquiry, but party leaders offered ‘necessary’ security clearances: Trudeau

Speaking after special rapporteur David Johnston said a public inquiry into allegations of foreign interference was not needed, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday that he would follow the recommendation but said letters had been sent to party leaders offering the necessary security clearances to view the intelligence Johnson’s report is based on.
