Rev. Al Sharpton said Friday at the funeral for Jordan Neely, a black man who was fatally choked aboard a New York City subway train, that Neely had been “choked most of his life” by agencies and people that failed him. Sharpton called Neely an example of how the system is failing the homeless and the mentally ill.
