The timing couldn’t be worse. Ahead of the May long weekend and just as the busy summer travel season is set to kick off, one of Canada’s largest airlines may stop flying. The WestJet pilots union has issued a 72-hour strike notice and as Erin Ubels reports — instead of flying — its 1600 members could be walking picket lines as early as Friday.
