Quebec strikes deal with medical specialists to reduce surgery wait times

Nearly 20,000 Quebecers have been waiting more than one year for surgery as the pandemic wreaked havoc on the province’s operating rooms. Now Quebec is presenting a new plan to reduce waiting lists significantly. The health minister says a deal struck with medical specialists will help tackle the backlog. But as Global’s Dan Spector reports, many are skeptical.
