Furry friends give comfort in classroom at Birchwood Elementary School

Students and staff at Birchwood Elementary School in St-Lazare are getting a special kind of mental health support. The use of comfort pets has proven to have a positive effect, reducing anxiety and stress levels. Global’s Video Journalist Matilda Cerone met some students, staff and animals who participate in the soothing initiative.
