Alberta wildfires: Feds in process of receiving formal assistance request, Blair says

Public Safety Minister Bill Blair said in Ottawa on Monday that the federal government is in the process of receiving a formal request for federal assistance from the province of Alberta for the ongoing wildfires that the region has been experiencing. Blair said that every level of government was working together to make sure that those impacted from the fires will receive the support that they need.
