Trudeau insists info on China’s alleged threat to Michael Chong never made it to him, office

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stood firm on his earlier comments that he learned about China’s alleged plot to intimidate Conservative MP Michael Chong from a report by the Globe and Mail on Monday, saying the information had not reached him, his office or the public safety minister at the time. He added he shared the “best information” he had at the time on Wednesday with Chong and Canadians.
