Peterborough business hires bagpipe group for King’s Coronation

Richard Labelle, co-owner of The UK Shoppe in Peterborough, connector to treats and staples of Britain and beyond, is not upset about getting up early for the King’s coronation on Saturday. In fact, he’s hiring a bagpiper for the occasion!
Teresa Kaszuba speaks to Labelle about Royal watching, the occasion of the coronation, King Charles as Monarch and royal souvenirs flying off the shelves even after ‘word’ that this monarch wasn’t getting the same fan-love as his predecessor. Chatter at the shop is also used as a barometer for what the city’s UK community is hoping for King Charles, is expecting from Harry & Prince William, and envisions for Britain under its 62nd Monarch.
