Changes to sex offender registry unlikely to prevent crime: expert

This week, Ottawa announced a number of proposed amendments to the country’s national sex offender registry though there are no plans to make the registry public. Currently, only Canadian police services have access to the database and one expert says the proposed changes to the database are unlikely to prevent a crime. Erica Vella reports.
