In an update on Saturday, Defence Minister Anita Anand said that more than 375 Canadians have been evacuated from Sudan as the situation in the conflict-ridden African nation remains “volatile and dangerous.” She added that a fifth Canadian flight is planned for that day and that the window of opportunity at the airfield is “closing.”
