Sudan crisis: Canada pausing rescue flights after mechanical trouble, reports of shooting

The Canadian government’s plan to evacuate Canadians from the deadly conflict in Sudan via air were put on hold Friday after one plane had mechanical problems and militants shot at a Turkish evacuation flight, Defence Minister Anita Anand said Friday.
