It may be out of the regular news cycle, but a reverend with Port Hope United Church does not want the catastrophic impact of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria to be forgotten.
More than 50-thousand people died in the tragedy. While aid came swiftly for Turkey, the same cant be said for war-torn Syria – that’s littered with restrictions.
Now, more than nine thousand kilometres away – this reverend is walking from his community to Cobourg and back… hoping to help.
