Alphonso Davies’ story is well known but a new book takes an intimate look at his journey from an African refugee to one of Canada’s greatest soccer players. Carole Anne Devaney spoke with Farhan Devji, the author of “Alphonso Davies: A New Hope,” who says Alphonso’s story is a shining example of what can happen if refugees are given the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
