Strong criticism continues more than one week after Quebec lawmakers announced a new Île-aux-Tourtes bridge would be built on Montreal’s western tip. The latest attack comes from the mayor of Vaudreuil and it all revolves around public transit and specifically the lack of a dedicated, reserved bus lane on the bridge. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, the mayor says the lack of a lane is lack of vision.
