Charges were officially dropped against Kendra Bigstony, 33, who was charged in the August 2022 collision death of 53-year-old Samantha Wylie on Highway 1A west of Calgary. Bigstoney was charged within hours of Wylie’s death, but insisted she wasn’t behind the wheel. As Elissa Carpenter explains Bigstony’s lawyer said rushing to lay charges so soon after the crash has damaged his client, but also hurt the family of the victim.
