A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson accused the U.S. on Monday of “technological bullying and trade protectionism” as China weighs on a decision to ban memory chipmaker Micron Technology Inc from selling chips in the country. The U.S. asked South Korea to urge its chipmakers not to fill any market gap in China if Beijing bans Micron from selling chips, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.
