There are concerns about salmonella when it comes to animals, according to Health Canada experts. The Public Health Agency Of Canada is now leading an investigation because of a recent case spike. As Katherine Ward reports, 45 people became sick with salmonella between February 2022 and March 2023, with cases stretching right across Canada — including one death.
