Fox Corp., Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems reached a settlement on Tuesday in the company’s defamation lawsuit against the broadcaster, just before a trial was set to begin on how the network chased viewers over its claims about the 2020 presidential election. Dominion Voting Systems said the settlement was for $787.5 million. As Reggie Cecchini reports, if the trial had gone ahead, the network would have faced an uphill battle — and they still face another legal battle involving another voting company.
