NYPD say alleged plot to drug, rob nightclub patrons resulted in two deaths

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday afternoon, New York Police Department (NYPD) Chief of Detectives James W. Essig outlined what police are alleging to be a criminal plot involving the drugging of nightclub patrons in the New York area with the intent to rob them – a plot which ultimately resulted in two overdose deaths, police say.
