Prime Minister Justin Trudeau commented Monday on reports he had been briefed on foreign interference six times since 2018 and said while he gets fully briefed on a “range of threats and concerns and matters of interest,” he could not speak specifically on what those briefings were about. He stressed that while he was “fully apprised” by national security agencies and takes action when appropriate, but he was limited to what could be said as it could possibly put at risk the people collecting that information.
