Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Monday that while he could not comment specifically on the conditions for Hockey Canada to get its funding back from the federal government, he said parents need to know that the mentality and the culture in the organization has changed and has been addressed. He added they had put “extremely clear expectations” to Hockey Canada before funding would be restored and they had “indicated a real willingness to move forward,” but the government would ensure the organization remains “worthy.”
