Then, there are concerns democracy is even further away in Sudan after a conflict between the military and a powerful paramilitary force left dozens of people dead. Back in Canada, there are few signs the crisis of drug overdose deaths is improving and it’s leaving many people with little hope any change is coming. And Canadians have all eyes on hockey this week as three of the country’s NHL teams are set to head to the playoffs and there’s a big focus on the Edmonton Oilers and their captain, Connor McDavid.
