COVID vaccines set to expire in Canada & Umbilical cord ‘milking’ can help newborns

Health Matters April 13: Slowed uptake of COVID-19 vaccines in Canada has led to millions of doses set to expire this year. And University of Alberta researchers are part of an international team studying how ‘milking’ a newborn’s umbilical cord can help prevent brain injury if they are having trouble breathing.
