Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson spoke on Tuesday about how the province will consider Orange Shirt Day 2023. Stefanson said “there is still no consensus on what Orange Shirt Day should look like” and that she will proceed only after indigenous communities are consulted. Winnipeg Mayor Scott Gillingham weighed in and expressed his commitment to reconciliation.
