Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre executive director Anette Morgan says there were added requests for support from this year’s encampment residents in Smithers, B.C. when a lot of their gear was damaged. From broken zippers to mouldy sleeping bags and tents that leaked, the town came together to support those living in Veterans Park.
