Vancouver Police Department Chief Const. Adam Palmer says he “strongly” supports the City of Vancouver’s decision to remove the encampment along the sidewalks of East Hastings Street. He says his department’s role is to “provide a safe space for city workers to do their job,” as they began to evict those living in tents and structures along the stretch of road.
