NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and Finnish President Sauli Niinistö both said Tuesday they are working to help Sweden finalize its membership in the Western defence alliance, calling the Nordic country’s accession to NATO a “top priority.” They say they have been in “constant communication” with Turkey about ratifying Sweden’s membership.
