NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called for the immediate release of Evan Gershkovich on Monday, a Moscow-based correspondent for the Wall Street Journal who was arrested by Russia’s FSB security service on suspicion of spying. Meanwhile, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya spoke in New York City on Monday, and said the same attention hasn’t been given to the Russian blogger known as Vladlen Tatarsky — whose real name is Maxim Yuryevich Fomin — after he was killed in a targeted explosion at a St. Petersburg cafe on Sunday.
