West Vancouver woman earns Carnegie Medal for saving teen’s life

West Vancouver resident Emilyn Golden is one of just 15 people across North America to receive the Carnegie Medal for heroism after she jumped into frigid waters at Dundrave Beach last September to rescue an autistic teen about 100 metres from shore. Catherine Urquhart reports.
