Pope Francis remains hospitalized with respiratory infection, as Spanish faithful pray

Spanish worshippers prayed for Pope Francis on Thursday at the Almudena Cathedral in central Madrid, after he was hospitalized with a respiratory infection the day before. The Vatican said on Thursday that the pontiff’s health is improving, and he has resumed working while treatment continues at Rome’s Gemelli hospital.
