Winnipeg visual artist Nicholas Friesen spoke on Wednesday about the Winnipeg Punk Rock Flea Market taking place on Sunday. Described as “The Munsters’ garage sale in John Water’s living room”, the market will offer music, crafts, fashion and local art. Friesen said it’s a great opportunity for alternative or underground artists inspired by punk rock to showcase their art.
