Nashville police Chief John Drake said Monday that two of the students killed in a mass shooting at a private Christian campus were nine years old and that a third was eight years old. Three adults were also killed. “I was hoping this day would never ever come,” he said, adding that his officers would never wait to make entry to stop a threat, “especially when it comes to our children.”
