Alcohol prices are likely going up April 1. The Excise Tax increases every April 1, and because of inflation, this will be the largest increase seen in decades. It’s especially concerning for restaurants that are still recovering from the pandemic. And there is worry this could be the last straw for some barely staying afloat in Nova Scotia.
