Internet access has improved, but less than 60% of access remains in rural areas and First Nations communities: Hogan

Auditor general Karen Hogan said during a media availability on Monday that internet access across Canada has improved but that less than 60 per cent of people in rural and First Nations communities are able to access the internet and mobile cellular services. Her remarks followed the release of four reports auditing the federal government’s spending.
