Addressing the Canadian Parliament on Friday, U.S. President Joe Biden called out Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig, who were detained in China for more than 1,000 days. “Our citizens are not bargaining chips,” he said, saying he was happy to see the two men “safely back with their families.”
