Councillor for the Rural Municipality of Montcalm Paul Sabourin said on Wednesday that most of the infrastructure repairs caused by 2022’s flooding were completed in time before the ground froze, but he hopes to dodge any chance of flooding in 2023. He added that the municipality is still waiting for up to 40 per cent of the promised compensation for repairs from the federal and provincial governments.
