Manitoba Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Doyle Piwniuk discussed the province’s preparations to combat spring flooding on Wednesday. Piwniuk said his team is focused on preparing for flooding in areas in the province like Peguis First Nation and Morris. He added that flood mitigation projects are underway but federal ministers have yet to join the discussion.
