It is said to be the first such education centre in all of Canada combining skills training in food, wine and tourism all under one roof. The province’s Minister of Post-Secondary education made a major funding announcement at the Kelowna campus of Okanagan college today–one that will pave the way for many more graduates to fill the labour shortages in the hospitality sector.
