A new, state of the art, $49 million centre to be built in Kelowna will give the hospitality sector a major boost

It is said to be the first such education centre in all of Canada combining skills training in food, wine and tourism all under one roof. The province’s Minister of Post-Secondary education made a major funding announcement at the Kelowna campus of Okanagan college today–one that will pave the way for many more graduates to fill the labour shortages in the hospitality sector.
