RCMP supervisor blasts Surrey unit’s tactics

An RCMP staff sergeant is blasting the tactics used by a specialized unit in Surrey. In an email sent to members of the South Community Response Unit — a screenshot of which was obtained by Global News — Staff Sgt. Jag Saran wrote “South CRU members have demonstrated their inability to perform the basic foundations of policing 101.” Rumina Daya reports.
