March 15 is the 40th anniversary of the historic First Ministers Conference. Indigenous leaders helped negotiate the first amendment that enshrined Indigenous land and treaty rights in the Constitution. Global’s Neetu Garcha sat down with Wilson and his wife, Bev Sellars, to talk about his extraordinary life in politics, their life together and the significant negative impact of the residential school system on Indigenous peoples across the country.
