McCain’s largest investment ever will expand potato-processing facility in Alberta

A potato processing giant is now planning to double its footprint in southern Alberta. McCain Foods announced a company-record investment Monday, which will increase the size, output and workforce of its operations east of Coaldale, Alta. As Erik Bay reports, it’s a move local economists say will have a big impact on the region.
