Federal Immigration Minister Sean Fraser was in Atlantic Canada on Friday where he met with the ministers of immigration for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador who all pledged to help asylum seekers entering their provinces. Fraser said that irregular migration is “not just a challenge for Quebec” adding that “irregular migration is a challenge of global proportions.”
