Canada’s women’s soccer team argue they should be paid equal to male counterparts, say it’s the ‘same work’

Canadian women’s soccer player Janine Beckie argued there is no reason why her team should be earning less money than the men’s national team, saying they do “the same work.” Beckie said they played for the same amount of minutes, use the same type of ball and play on the same field.
