In the 1970’s, Indigenous elders and knowledge keepers gathered at Trent University to share their knowledge in the biggest event of its kind.
47 years later, the tradition continues, in a critical transfer of knowledge that organizers say helps prevent Indigenous culture and traditions from dying out.
