Former Liberal cabinet minister Marc Garneau said Wednesday, after delivering his final speech in the House of Commons, that his family wanted him to retire while he is “still healthy.” Garneau said his retirement marks not just the end of his political life but his entire career, adding “I’ve climbed all my mountains.”
