Foreign election interference: Poilievre mocks appointment of special rapporteur, calls it ‘fake new position’

Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre mocked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s appointment of a special rapporteur amid investigations for foreign election interference allegations during question period in the House of Commons on Tuesday, calling it a “fake new position” that Trudeau has created. He accused Trudeau, who was not in the House, of “hiding from Canadians.”
