B.C. attorney general announces new legislation to prevent sharing of intimate images

Attorney General Niki Sharma announced Monday the B.C. government is introducing the Intimate Images Protection Act to stop or prevent the distribution, or threat of distribution, of intimate images without consent. This legislation also covers near-nude images, videos, live streams and digitally altered images.
