Winnipeg police responded to the 200 block of Amherst Street on Monday at approximately 1:00 a.m. to reports of a shooting. The forensics team operated at the crime scene on Amherst Street with additional officers investigating what appeared to be a two-vehicle collision on the adjacent block of Sackville Street. The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
