Metro Vancouver will spend an estimated $150 million over the next five years to send garbage to landfills in the B.C. Interior, Washington State, and Oregon. The region has never produced more waste than it does now, and while most of it is recycled, it’s still more than we can comfortably handle at home. Jennifer Palma reports.
